It was such a breath of fresh air to stay in a hotel like this. The girl at reception was so pleasant and welcoming. The room was lovely,we had a great sleep after driving my Mayo. The food in the restaurant was great. The server was able to advise me confidently regarding suitable dishes for a coeliac. This made such a difference, often you just feel like you're being awkward. Again at breakfast she was so nice. The pool and spa area were just an added bonus. I would highly recommend this hotel and above all the price was fantastic, much appreciated in these times. We travelled as a group of 6, under a late reservation, to attend a family funeral in Newry. I e-mailed ahead to explain our circumstances and to request an early check-in if possible, as we were arriving into Belfast on an early morning flight and had a busy day ahead with family gatherings. I received a very prompt response from Gemma on reception who completely understood our situation and made the necessary arrangements for us to check-in early, despite the hotel being very busy We were greeted warmly at reception by Gemma and until the moment of check-out, nothing was too much trouble for your staff, who accommodated all of our requests with empathy and a smile. Our rooms were so comfortable and we spent a very enjoyable evening in the bar/restuarant on Sunday, relaxing after a tiring and emotional day and again, the quality of fservice we received was excellent. Despite the sad reason for our visit, this was greatly eased by the kindness and efficiency of your staff and on behalf of my family, I would like to extend our thanks to everybody. We hope to be able to return under happier circumstances and have no hesitation in recommending your lovely hotel to family and friends. Thank you.
